Vivien Yvonne Carberry

Vivien Yvonne Carberry , age 85, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025. Vivien was born in Miamisburg, Ohio on December 11, 1939 to the late Russell Lawrence and Etiva K. ( Kindred) Green.

Vivien was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. Her family was very important to her, and she took that role seriously. Vivien was a devout Christian and her life’s desire was to go to heaven. She was a long time member of Grace Baptist Church, and a resident of Hunter for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James of 61 years, her son Shane Carberry; brothers Russell Allen Green, Stetson Nyles Green (wife Carol Green); sisters Donna Rose Green, and Wanda Vera Green. Also a nephew, Brent Nyles Green.

Vivien is survived by daughters Kim Bratton, Dana (Kerry) Brooks, Stephanie (Steve) Moore, and Karmen (Scott) Williams. She had 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; sisters Elaine Turner, Ann (Robert) Planck, and brother Roger (Brenda) Green; sister in law Sarah Green; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Vivien also had a beloved dog Annie, who was her constant companion for the last three years.

Vivien’s visitation will be held Friday, May 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed by her memorial service at 12:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home Franklin, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, Ohio 45005. Burial will take place at Springboro Cemetery.
