Walter Eugene Stacy, Age 73 of Middletown, passed peacefully Sunday, May 15, 2016, at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born December 29, 1942 in Middletown, OH to Ray and Edna (Helton) Stacy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. He graduated from Miami University and made the Dean’s list every time. He enjoyed woodworking and going to the flea market.
Gene is survived by a loving and devoted wife of 53 years, Evea; two sons, Dan of Middletown, Chris (Tina) of Carlisle; two granddaughters, Alissa and Hailey; brothers, Don Stacy and David Stacy; and a sister, Jill Williams.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 12-2pm at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm with Rev. Jimmy Anderson officiating.
