She served the Lord with Joy for over 70 years, singing, teaching, and a deacon’s wife. A true servant of the Lord. She was a lifetime homemaker. Known for her cooking and hospitality for all and no one was turned away.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Delmer Smith; a son Delmer Smith Jr.; siblings, Glenna Jordan, Eileen Jordan, Claiborne Hacker, and Harold Hacker.
Wanda is survived by her daughter Lisa Diane Woodruff, her husband Van; a son David Michael Smith, his wife Marty; daughter-in-law, Adina Lynn Smith; eight grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; her siblings, Patricia Dunn and her husband Larry, Henrietta Browning and her husband Gary, Bill Hacker and his wife Pat, R.V. Hacker and his wife Lala. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Living Word Missionary Baptist Church, 8369 Princeton Pk, Liberty Township, Ohio followed by funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Barnard, Pastor Terry Brock, and Pastor Jason Faulkner Officiating.
Burial will be in Germantown Union Cemetery, Germantown, Ohio.
