Wayne Russell

Wayne W. Russell, age 93, of Springboro, OH; went to the Lord's House on Saturday March 10, 2012. He was born in New Orleans, LA on June 20, 1918 to Perry and Ola Annette (Osborne) Russell. Wayne worked for Monsanto, General Motors and Delphi, was a member of West Carrollton Presbyterian Church and a resident of Springboro for 56 years. He was very active in his church and his community. Both Wayne and his wife Anna Lee were affiliated with the Warren County Alternative School. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Anna Lee. He is survived by his son Tom (Kay), daughters Paula of MD and Pat (Lew) of Cincinnati. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren Michele (Dave), Andy (Sarah), Rob (Stephanie), and Anna. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services are 2pm Monday March 19, 2012 at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH with Rev. Kathy Horne officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery, Corwin, OH. Visitation will be Monday from 12pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Pk Dayton, OH 45420.
