William E. Adkins

William E. Adkins, age 82, of Franklin, Ohio, died Thursday March 31, 2016 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Franklin, Ohio on June 8, 1933 to William and Edna (Minge) Adkins. William served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a longtime member of Full Gospel Outreach. He was employed with Armco Steel for 30 years and retired in 1983 and also after retirement Anderson Security. He was preceded in death by his father, William Adkins, mother, Edna Minge Adkins, brother, Ralph Adkins. William is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Adkins; two daughters, Claudia Tufts and Shandra (Kevin) Forsha; two sons, Steven (Sharri) Adkins and David (Teresa) Adkins; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Paul Adkins; sister, Phyllis (Manford) Alexander; two half sisters, Donna Dunkle, and Susan Adkins. Funeral services are 7:00 pm Tuesday April 5, 2016 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Reverend James Maggard officiating followed by military honors.
