

William B. Brennan, age 83, of Springboro, OH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Kettering Medical Center. Bill was born April 7, 1931 in Dayton, OH the son of the late "Zip" and Verona (Zeihler) Brennan. He was an All-City football player at Chaminade High School and went on to the University of Wisconsin on a football scholarship. He later graduated from the University of Dayton and then attended the University of Louisville Dental School. He practiced Dental medicine in the Dayton area for nearly 40 years and loved the art of dentistry and his patients. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Brennan. Bill is survived by his wife, Carol (Potter) Brennan, after being married for nearly 60 years. They had the good fortune to raise 5 wonderful children (Terri, Linda, Cindy, Jim and Tony). He leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandsons, 1 great granddaughter on the way and 1 sister, Joan Talbot. Bill loved golf, his family and telling a story. He never met a stranger and had a soft spot in his heart for those in need. His kindness and gentle humor will be missed by all. The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Franklin, OH, on Friday, January 16, 2015 following a 10:00 am Mass.
