William B Day

William B. “Sonny” Day, 82, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023. He was born on April 1st, 1940 in Menifee County, Kentucky to Stanley Carson and Lula Mae Day. William was a proud veteran, serving his country in the United States Navy during the 1960’s. He was a big sports fan, especially baseball, softball, basketball, and horseshoes. William was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Lula, his wife Alberta, and his sister Gay. William is survived by his sons, Bill Day and Jim Day; his grandsons Cody Day and Mossimo Day; his great-granddaughter Saliyah Day; and his sisters Marie, Darlene, Bonnie, and Wanda.
