William Dale Dickenson, Jr., age 74 of Carlisle passed away August 1, 2018. He was born May 9, 1944 in Auburn, Indiana, the son of the late William Dale Dickenson and Helen (Donley) Dickenson. He retired from the Eaton Corporation in Auburn, Indiana. William served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Evetta (Hicks) Dickenson; daughter, Sheila (husband, Brett) Scheffter; granddaughter, Taylor Scheffter; and a sister, Barbara Winters. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Poasttown First Church of God with Pastors Kevin Beck and Kenny Brewer officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time Thursday at the church. Burial with military honors will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Auburn, Indiana on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
