Retired from Aeronca in 1991. Bill was born August 4, 1933 in Bonnyman, KY to the late Jack Shillinglaw and Sophia Standafer Shillinglaw. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Betty Williams and Kathleen Campbell and his brother Jack Shillinglaw, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Betty Robinson Shillinglaw of 64 years, one daughter Leah Balsly and husband Jerry of Loveland, OH and son Greg Shillinglaw and wife Joyce of Franklin, OH, two grandchildren Emily Burley and husband Aaron of Nashville, TN and Kyle Shillinglaw of Reidsville, NC, and one great grandson William Daniel Burley.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1 at 1:00 p.m. with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home 517 S. Sutphin in Middletown, OH. Reverend William Julian of Sanford, KY, officiating.
Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery. Family requests that donations be made to Dayton Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers.
