

William W. "Bucky" Singleton, age 73, of Franklin, Ohio, died Saturday August 9, 2014 at James Cancer Institute. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on June 1, 1941 to William and Edna Singleton. William served U.S. Army from 1966 to 1968. He was employed with Marathon for 30 years and retired in 2006 driving over 2 million accident free miles. He was involved with the Truck Rodeo Associations for 10 years both as a participant and judge. He served with the Warren County Board of Elections since 2008. He was preceded in death by his Father, William J. Singleton, Mother, Edna Mae Singleton. William is survived by his wife of 16 years Linda (Powers) Singleton; son, Christopher F. (Vickie) Singleton; sister, Jody (Tony) Scenna; a brother-in-law John Kibby and wife Darlene; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Wendall and Kathy Sargent; five nieces, Julie (Ephraim) Martin, Rena (Rich) Stewart, Gina Scenna, Keli Sargent, Laura Kibby; nephew, Darrell (Kim) Sargent; special friends Brian and Jenny Sleeth; Rick (Lucille) Vandeventer; many other family members and friends; and beloved pet Princess. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Wednesday August 13, 2014 at Anderson Funeral Homes 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Steve Combs officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
