

William "David" Tibbs, age 68, of Monroe passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born November 13, 1947 in Middletown, OH the son of Roy and Berdenia (James) Tibbs.
David was formerly employed with Sorg Paper Mill for 21 years as well as Voith Sulzer Paper Technology for 9 years. He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. David was also a published author of the book, Kennison's Gifts. He loved his 3 loyal puppies, Phoebe, Punky and Chewy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Wanda Mae Tibbs, Dolores D. Tibbs, Judith Heffner, his brothers, Robert E., Roy Jr., James R., and, Ronald D. Tibbs.
David is survived by his wife of 46 years, Estella A. (Conarroe) Tibbs; his son, Kristopher D. (Laura) Tibbs; a daughter, Nicole M. (Martin) Weaver; and grandson, Kaden D. Tibbs. Also survived by four sisters, June (Earl) Rothwell, Pauline Johnston, Joyce Joy, and Susan (Dennis) Campbell.
