Anne May Luna was born in Houston, Texas, on May 20, 1982, to Zenaida Enriquez and Alvin Luna. A lifelong learner, she pursued education beyond high school, earning certifications in a variety of fields that reflected her many passions.
Creative and curious by nature, AnneMay had a vibrant love for music and never shied away from trying something new—from DJing and dancing to cosmetology and nurse assisting. In 2013, she discovered her calling in early childhood education and became a preschool teacher at Children’s Preschool Center in Palo Alto, CA, where her nurturing spirit truly shined.
AnneMay was also deeply connected to the outdoors and her fitness, often exploring nature through hikes—Mission Peak being her favorite. Music was her constant companion, and she found joy in live shows across all genres. A rhythmic playlist and a long drive were, for her, the perfect ingredients for a beautiful day. Suuuu!
Her relationship with God began early in life. She grew up singing in the children’s choir and later joined the Unity Praise Band at Valley Faith in Sunnyvale, CA, where she sang for years. Her faith was the quiet strength that carried her through every chapter.
To her friends and family, AnneMay brought a calming presence and contagious energy. She had a way of making you feel like everything would be okay—even in the hardest moments.
On April 9, 2025, surrounded by her closest loved ones, AnneMay peacefully took her last breath, concluding her courageous battle with cancer. She now rests in eternal peace, having gained her wings.
She is survived by her beloved sons, Jayce and Keoni; mother, Zenaida; father, Alvin; sisters, Abigail, Carlea, and Aubrey; brothers, CJ and Marc; and her nephews, Jericho, Roman, Ryzen, and Kaileo.
AnneMay was a true angel on Earth—a light, a quiet yet powerful force, a fierce fighter, and a soul who will be forever missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
