Antonio M. Bautista, 71, of Santa Clara,CA was sent to be with God on Wednesday November 29, 2012. He was born on October 29, 1941 in Tiwala, Polo, Bulacan, Philippines. He left the Philippines and joined the United States Navy in April 1967 in hopes of a better future for himself. While stationed in Pensacola, Florida, he was introduced to Ethel Bautista and married her on May 31, 1969. Their only son, Christopher was born in November 1970 while stationed in Guam. After several Naval transfers, the family settled in Santa Clara, CA in 1977 and lived there ever since. After retiring from the Navy in August 1993, he continued to work because he always wanted to be productive. He worked at Bamsi Corporation and then eventually Bayer Pharmaceuticals in Berkeley in charge of quality control.
He will be remembered as a very likable, humorous, intelligent and most of all humble man who touched many lives. He will be truly missed by many.
Antonio is survived by his wife Ethel Bautista and his son, Christopher Bautista.
