Caluday Ilejay Jayme was born on January 17, 1927 and the third child to Catalina Ilejay Jayme and Casiano Ycay Jayme. Caluda was a beloved sister, aunt, and grandaunt to many. Even though she did not have any children, she raised her nieces and nephews as her own. Her pride and joy were her grandnieces and grandnephews who have brought great happiness to her.
She was selfless and always thought of others before herself. She wanted to make sure that everyone was taken care of especially family in the Philippines. She was a master cook in the kitchen and was able to cook until the day she passed. It was a special treat when she would make Semi Morcon, her one of a kind recipe which was a favorite for everyone! She also enjoyed crocheting, collecting pictures, and watching her soap operas. She will be forever missed and may she Rest In Peace.
