A Tribute to a Loving Sister,

Wife and Mother

Reymundo Rogelio D. Espiritu

Death, keeping vigil in the night has taken away our beloved sister, Catalina, after 80 years travel on Mother Earth.

It breaks our hearts to see her go and we are greatly saddened by her leaving us. Yet we are comforted with the thought that “death is only a stepping stone to a beautiful place we have never known.” It is a place where there are no turbulent storms, no pain, no suffering but there exist eternal peace and joy.

Today we offer her a crown of praise and honor for the excellent work she had performed in her transient travel on earth. We salute her for the quality service she had shared to mankind.

As a sister, a wife, a mother, her performance was splendid. Talents, values, and services she unselfishly shared. Her inner warmth to others overflowed. She sowed beautiful seeds of love that grew and glowed in the lives of others she touched.

All these years had stored treasured beautiful memories that linger on and then reminisced. The footprints she left behind are deeply etched in the sands of time. The monuments of love she built will stand all weather. We will always remember her as an affectionate person, friendly, kind hearted, approachable, patient and responsible. She will live on in the minds that she inspired, and the lives that she improved and in the hearts that she touched.

We thank the Lord for the colorful life she lived amidst thorns and turbulent storms. Yet it was a life crowned with love, self-fulfillment, success, happiness and selfless service to mankind.

And now to our dear sister, beloved wife and mother, you are leaving us for eternity. A million thanks for your love, caring heart and generosity. You are not really gone entirely. For in our hearts lives your beautiful memory.

As Reymund – Mary & Marissa Jade put it beautifully
In their farewell message to you and I quote,

“God put His arms around you to rest. He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain and will never get well on earth again. He saw your path was difficult, and closed your
weary eyes. He whispered “Peace be Thine” and gave you wings to fly. When we saw you sleeping so calmly, free and void of pain, we would not wish you back on earth to suffer once again. You’ve left us precious memories, your love will be our guide. You live on through your only son, you’re always be by our side. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you the day God called you home. Rest in Peace Mama Ester we love you and you’ll be missed.”

Lastly, farewell, dearly beloved sister Catalina, farewell. May your rewards in the Lord’s Kingdom be great!

To My Dearest Mother Catalina,

It is said that the bond between a mother and child is special and will live on forever. Ours is no exception.

Mom, you have been a great inspiration in the development of person I have become. You taught me to love, respect others and value family & friends.

You've always been there for me and my family through good, bad and indifferent. You were always available to lend an ear when necessary. You always offered good advice and great words of wisdom. You always loved me unconditionally.

Our journey together had many peaks and some valleys but the wonderful memories are many.

Thank you for being the greatest mother a son could possibly have. I love you and will truly miss you!

Mom, you will always live in our hearts and in our memories forever.

“For we know that when the earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands” 2 Corinthians 5:1

May God Bless you and grant you eternal peace.
