Catherine Virginia Thomas

Catherine Thomas was born on July 30 1941 to the parents of Oscar and Bertha Moss in East St. Louis, Illinois. Early on in her life the family moved to Oakland, California. Where she then attended Elmhurst Elementary School and later attended and graduated from Oakland Technical High School. Catherine (Cat) accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior under

the leadership of Reverend Flemon Henry Sr. at New St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and was an active member on the usher board.

Catherine (Cat) was a unique woman who Loved her one and only Honey who preceded her in death Aquilla Bill Robinson for some fifty seven years plus; she always opened her heart and home to many in need. She had a passion for shopping, and was always willing to help others no matter what the problem. Catherine (Cat) is our Kindred spirit.

Catherine (Cat) Started her career as a Teacher Assistant under the tutelage of Mrs. Gloria Balding at Lafayette Elementary School in Oakland. She later start a new career at B of A as customer center operator. Advancing to customer service supervisor at B of A in San Francisco California.

Catherine (Cat) departed this life on January 3, 2025 and was preceded in death by both parents,Oscar and Bertha Moss, one brother Oscar Moss Jr. and her two sisters Ruth L. Jamison. Maxine Jamison. And her one and only daughter Felica A. Hamilton who has preceded her in death: Three sons Danny Thomas, Darren Thomas, and Dirk Thomas PHD. Who she leaves to cherish her memories. She also leaves to cherish her twelve grandchildren Kathian Thomas, Crystal Thomas, Soraya, Thomas, Ikeya Thomas, Patrice Jackson, Fenecia Defils, Fetecia Defils, Hamliton, . Hamliton, Fequecia Willard Defils, Aquilla Thomas, Robert Lee Hamliton Jr. Catherine (Cat) She also leaves precious memories with twenty nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cat will be truly missed on this earth by family and friends alike.
