Cesareo “Cesar” Benitez, a beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, caring son, father-in-law, and dear friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, kindness, laughter, and devotion.
Cesar was the devoted husband and life partner of MariCris, with whom he shared 47 years and 9 months of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with treasured memories, faith, commitment, and an enduring love that carried them through the many seasons of life.
He was a proud father to his three daughters, Charmaine, Camille, and Ces-Marie, and a welcoming father-in-law to Santino, Nicholas,
and Narciso III. He was a playful and doting Grandpa to Mick, Maddie, Marcus, Maven, Jackson, Paige, Grayson, and Camden, always finding special ways to make each of them feel loved.
Cesar found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. He loved to cook, often bringing people together through the food he prepared with care. He had a green thumb and took great pride in tending his garden, planting and growing his own fruits and vegetables. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing, appreciated good food as a true foodie, and never missed the chance to cheer for his beloved San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors.
Those who knew Cesar will remember his generous spirit, warm sense of humor, and the way he made people feel welcome. He gave freely of himself, shared his wisdom and laughter, and created countless memories that will be treasured for generations. His strength through life’s challenges and his devotion to those he loved were a reflection of the man he was.
His family is profoundly grateful to God for the gift of Cesar’s life and for the many years they were blessed to share with him. Although his absence leaves an immeasurable emptiness, the love he gave and the memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Cesar is survived by his wife, MariCris; his daughters, Charmaine, Camille, and Ces-Marie; his sons-in-law, Santino, Nicholas and Narciso III; and his grandchildren, Mick, Maddie, Marcus, Maven, Jackson, Paige, Grayson, Camden & Great-Grandson , Simon.
May Cesar rest peacefully in God’s loving embrace. May the Lord welcome him into His Kingdom, where there is no more pain or sorrow, only eternal peace. Until we meet again, his love will remain forever in our hearts.
