Clara Trinidad de Leon

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Clara Trinidad De Leon, on August 27, 2026, at 8:34 PM. She passed away peacefully at 85 years old, surrounded by the profound love of the family and community she spent a lifetime building.

Born in the Philippines, Clara immigrated to the United States on a professional accountant and business visa, settling in the San Francisco Bay Area. A brilliant mind and a compassionate soul, she worked as an accountant at Fairchild Corporation for many years. Driven by a deep desire to directly uplift and serve her community, she later transitioned careers to become a trusted realtor and mortgage loan officer. Her professional life was never just about business; it was a vehicle to guide fellow immigrants and families into building stable, prosperous lives in their new home.

Beyond her career, Clara was a pillar of strength in her community. She was a deeply devout, active member of the Catholic Church and a vibrant leader within the Filipino-American community in the Bay Area. Her faith and her heritage were the twin anchors of her life, and she bridged her two beloved countries by fostering a vast, deeply connected extended family network across both the United States and the Philippines.

While Clara managed kidney failure over the last six years, her spirit remained undiminished, and she lived an otherwise robust and healthy life. This was made possible by the fierce devotion of her two daughters and her care team of two dedicated nurses, who lovingly provided round-the-clock, intermittent care in the comfort of her home. When it came time to step across the threshold into eternal rest, her closest nearby relatives, lifelong neighbors, and dearest friends rushed to her hospital bedside, enveloping her in prayer, gratitude, and unwavering support for her final decision to rest in peace.

Clara is joyfully reunited in paradise with her parents, Felomena Trinidad DeLeon and Narcisso DeLeon, as well as her first love, Francisco Antolin. Her legacy of love, strength, and community service lives on through her daughters, who inherited her passion for public service and professional excellence. She is survived by her eldest daughter, Clarisse De Leon Antolin, a licensed school psychologist for Santa Clara Unified School District, Phillip A.Pasag III, along with their children, Melia Sage Pasag and Rielan Jace Pasag (and beloved family pet Thor)and her youngest daughter, Stephanie De Leon-Antolin Beran, a CPA with a law degree working for the federal government (and her beloved Papillon, Rocky). She is also survived by a large, loving extended family of siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins across the United States and the Philippines who will miss her dearly.

Service Details

• United States Services: A memorial service will be held on September 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary located at 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, California.

• Memorial and Interment in the Philippines: Clara will return home to her final resting place in Norzagaray, Bulacan, Republic of the Philippines. Memorial services and interment dates and times are to be determined and will be shared with overseas family and friends once finalized. (A live-stream link will be shared for those wishing to join virtually.)

In lieu of flowers, donations towards the memorial services on 9/26/2026 will assist Clara’s family in managing two memorial services in the U.S. and the Philippines. Contributions may be made via Zelle to Clarisse Antolin at 408-687-8713.
