

Edwin, Sarge or Wing was a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother, and a true friend to all. Born Feb 06, 1960 in Manila Philippines, Edwin grew up surrounded by family, laughter, and the cultural values of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for those dear.
Edwin met the love of his life, Gina, and together they built a beautiful life filled with warmth and companionship. As a husband, he was patient, supportive, and steadfast, always putting his family’s personal needs before his own.
He was a proud father to Edwin Jr., Kenneth Paul, and Edward Lewis. He taught them the importance of hard work, honesty, and compassion. His wisdom, humor, and quiet strength continues to live on in the hearts of his children for generations to come.
As a brother, Sarge was a pillar of support, always ready to lend a helping hand or share words of encouragement. He cherished family gatherings, in which his stories, laughter, and gentle spirit brought everyone closer together.
Edwin dedicated years to Solectron and The San Francisco Chronicle earning the respect of his colleagues through his integrity and dedication. Outside of work, he found joy in gardening, fishing, music, and cooking. His specialty was Lapaz Batchoy and chocolate meat also known as Dinuguan in Ilonggo while sharing his passions with family and friends alike.
Those who knew Edwin will remember him for his warm smile, his quiet strength, and the way he made everyone feel seen and loved. His legacy of love, faith, and family will forever be a guiding light to all who was blessed to know him.
He is survived by his loving wife Gina, his children Edwin Jr, Kenneth Paul, and Edward Lewis, his siblings, Fernando,
Angelito, and Gemma. Though he may be gone from our sight, he will never be forgotten in our hearts. May his soul rest in eternal peace always.
