Born August 23, 1938, in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, and lived most of his life in San Jose, California. He was one of eight children to the late Martin and Feliza Manuel.
Felipe is survived by his children Francis John Manuel and Jennilee Manuel Zulueta, He is also survived by his five grandchildren Lilianna Manuel, Clarissa Manuel, Jacob Manuel, Alyssa J. Zulueta, and Jocelyn C. Zulueta.
