Felix “Lex” Parayno, 66, entered into Heaven peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2019 in Santa Clara, California. He was born on May 25, 1953 in Pangasinan Philippines to his Father, Nicolas Loresco Parayno, and his Mother, Marcelina deVelina Zulueta Parayno. Lex leaves behind his beloved wife of almost 40 years, Amelia Abulencia Parayno; his children, Marijo Parayno Madriaga (Jhun), Bryan Parayno (Jomelie), and Mark Parayno (Danyell) of Santa Clara. He was blessed with 4 (soon to be 5) grandchildren, Janessa Milani Madriaga Parayno, Nicolas Alexander Parayno, Rylie Christopher Parayno, Christian Jaxon Parayno, as well as one more on the way. In addition, he leaves behind three siblings of which are his two brothers, Willie Parayno (Luming), Froilan Parayno (Tess) and his younger sister Marifel. Lex was a Santa Clara Resident since 1981, but originally grew up in Manila, Philippines where he met his wife Amelia, in Fort Bonifacio, Makati City Manila, PI. Lex was a faithful member at North Valley Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Trieber and served in the Filipino Ministry under the leadership of Pastor Apusen.

Lex studied at Fiati University in Manila, Philippines and Graduated in 1975. He later studied for his BS Mechanical Engineering Degree and Mastered at the University of Santo Thomas of Manila. Upon Graduating, Lex started working at Delta Motors Toyota in Paranaque Manila, PI as a Production QC Manager in the Engineering Department. On November 10, 1979, he married the love of his life, Amelia Abulencia Parayno, and they two began their life together. He continued his work as a Production Engineer in Daiken Air Conditioning in Manama, Bahrain in 1980, but since moving to the States in July 26, 1981, Lex began his life work serving at USPS in Santa Clara, California for 35 years.

No matter where Lex was, or who he met, he always brought up the Gospel in hopes that each person he talked to would have the wonderful opportunity of getting saved. He loved the Lord and always made it a point to show it. Lex always took care of his family, but not only did he just take care of his own family; he took care of everyone. Not a day went by where he wasn’t thinking of those in need and trying to help them fill that need. He was a very caring, giving, and selfless Son, Husband, Father, and Friend to all. Lex will be greatly missed, but we know he has now joined his Father Nicolas Parayno and Father and Mother - in - law, Domingo Abulencia and Josefa Abulencia, and is at perfect peace with the Lord in Heaven where one day we will all get to see him once more. Until we meet again…
