My childhood memory of Papa is when he moved here from the Philippines. His first job was Mcdonalds in Daly City. He use to walk Cj and I to school and afterschool I would meet him at McDonalds and he always remembered to save me an apple pie and french fries because he knew that was my favorite from McDonalds. Papa you will forever be in our hearts and will be missed dearly. You were blessed to live a long life. Now you can reunite with Mama and be together in paradise.

Papa was always loving, caring and a big jokester. He always knew how to put a smile on your face. The best memories I have is when I was a kid. Papa would play crab with us, which he would pinch the crap outta of us with his toes while we tried to attack him.  He would also have us flex our muscles to see how strong we are. He would feel your muscles and say "you're muscles are hard...like pandesal". Papa was truly a great person and I know him and Mama will always watch over us.

Papa was and is one of the funniest and most loving people I know. From the first day I met him when he moved here from the Philippines, to the last day I saw him before he passed, I don't think a person has made me laugh as much as he has. He went from being a stranger in my life to being one of my favorite people in the world. All of my memories with him since I was a kid involves A LOT of laughter and love. I could never say "no" to him, like if he wanted me to bring him pizza, keep my 49ers jacket, drive him to the store, or drive him to Reno so he can gamble. You can always count on him for a good time, whether it was dancing, singing karaoke, playing mah jong, eating his delicious food, playing slots, or watching boxing, pool, or car chases on TV.  Although I'm sad he's gone, it brings me joy and comfort to know he's reunited with Mama. I imagine they're up in Heaven ballroom dancing  and singing, or him making a mess & Mama cleaning up after him, or them just lovingly yelling at each other over who knows what. I will miss seeing Papa doing the most mundane things like watching TV in his room or searching for food in the kitchen in his thermals. I will miss hearing him tell his endless jokes and hearing his laughter and seeing his smile at said jokes. But most of all, I will miss his hugs & kisses, and the light, warmth, and love he provided. Papa never shied away from expressing how much he loves you and how thankful he always was. And for that, I am truly lucky to have had him as my Papa, and I will remember and love him always.

Papa is all about family. He's all about Mama, whom he loves so much. Their relationship sets a high standards and is our ultimate relationship goal. We've witnessed love in its truest form because of them. The way they care for each other and the cute way they fight and yet still can't enough of each other. Papa is also all about his daughters. The way he cared for his daughters, always wanting them to be together, always want them to be around, taking care of them even though they have their own family now. And Papa is also all about his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is always looking for us, he always wants us hanging around him, he always wants to listen to our stories and watch sports with us or sit there while drinking and having fun. He just always want to be around the family and we love having him around. Because Papa is the funniest person I know. No such thing as dad jokes, because his jokes and stories are really funny and entertaining. He never failed to make us laugh, even if you're having a bad day, Papa can definitely make you smile. He is the life of the party. He even enjoys just sitting there surrounded by his family listening to the stories and watching everyone have fun no matter how loud it gets. Papa is the glue that holds us together. He always make  sure to keep the family strong and bonded. He made sure that everyone is close enough that we know we can lean with each other when times are tough. Papa, we will continue what you and Mama have started. We will make sure that the family will always be together, that we will always see each other, holidays or not. We will always gather and remember you and mama. Your funny stories, your jokes, your legacies, your famous "nguso" which gives you away whenever you tell a lie and other things that you say and do. I really miss you. I wish I had spent more time with you and hugged you more. Just know that we will never forget you and you'll always be in our hearts. I love you so much Papa.
