George, also affectionately known as "Jorge" and "Totoy", was called to his Heavenly Father at the age of 86. He is now with his first wife, Ely, with whom he was married for 51 years. Also at their side is their second oldest son, Jojo. Among those who welcomed George are his parents, siblings, and daughter-in-law Myrna, as well as extended family members who have gone before him.
George is survived by his second wife, Dolores Alo Enriquez, and ten of his eleven children with Ely: Jojie, Tito, Paul, Chona, Joel, Lolit, Gardy, Chichi, Nona and Ella; daughters and sons in-law: Nancy, Virgie, Frances, Nestor, Rowena, Obie, Arlene, Warren, Rannie and Andy; thirty one grand children, and fourteen great grand children.
In California, last respects may be paid at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Lima Family Cedar Lawn, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m on September 21, 2013 at Sacred Heart Parish Church in Tugatog, Malabon, Metro-Manila, Philippines. Internment will folllow shortly at the Manila Memorial Park - Dasmarinas, Cavite.
