

Glenn Alvin Tumacder was born on May 26, 1950, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Mercedes and Modesto Tumacder. As a young child, Glenn relocated with his family to Northern California, where he grew up and later graduated from high school. Following graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
In 1990, Glenn returned to California with his own family. Later in life, he moved to Las Vegas and eventually settled in Chicago. Throughout his journey, Glenn built lasting relationships and was embraced by an extended circle of loving friends whose care, support, and companionship brought comfort and meaning to his life.
Glenn was preceded in death by an older brother, who passed away at a young age, and by his sister, Paulette. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kim Tumacder; his son, Richard, and daughter-in-law, Chrissy; his grandchildren, Austin and Tristan; his step-son, Shawn; his former wife, Susie Tumacder; his brother-in-law, Hammond, and niece, Marcella; his brother, Anthony, and nephew Eddie, nieces Lanai, Karrin, and Aleah; his brother, Kelvin Tumacder, and sister-in-law, Patty, nephews Leon and Robbie; along with a large and loving family of cousins.
Glenn’s life was a reflection of the many bonds he formed, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo.
A Celebration of Life service for Glenn will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, 10:00 a.m. at The Veterans Memorial Hall, 37154 2nd Street, Fremont, California 94536.
