To Nene Gloria's children and grandchildren: Your Mama earned no medal, no trophy, nor recognition.  But in her heart she knew her family is her best trophy.

Tita Nene, as she is fondly called by her nieces and nephews was like my "barkada" (group of friends to hang out with).  She liked to "tsismis" (gossip) with me and would giggle like a little girl.  That's what I found endearing with Tita Nene - her youthful and child-like attitude which, I believe was what made her breeze through difficult times in her life.  I will miss Tita Nene.  I'm glad we will still see each other in heaven someday.

MESSAGE TO NENE GLORIA's CHILDREN @ LOVED ONES:   Prayer and Care are the ingredients  that  keep the closeness of your family alive despite distance and schedule. 
Let your prayers be the ingredient in keeping your closeness to your loved ones, and friends. 
DO NOT FRET. GOD IS WITH YOUR MOM. YOU TOO. ABOVF ALL, She needs your PRAYERS, LOVE, @ CARE.

With Marilou and Joely Rose in our last mini reunion couple of years ago.

I will always remember Tita Nene as a bouquet of freshly-picked spring flowers.

Like the scent of these flowers, Tita Nene enveloped the people around her with such innocence and her own brand of sense of humor with unbridled ease.  This made me wonder whether we should breeze through with joy like she did. Thank you for the reminder Tita Nene.

Like a flower in full bloom, she was abundantly happy the last time I saw her. I wondered why. Then I remembered how she embraced humility when she, unwittingly, taught me that asking for forgiveness strengthens and empowers you. Frees and liberates not only you but everyone you are sharing it with.  Thank for sharing Tita Nene.

Lastly, the open-mindedness of her spirituality and the faith she had in the power of inculsion deserved my unwavering respect.  I am so very fortunate to have experienced that with you. Thank you Tita Nene. You will always be in my heart.
