I found the picture I wanted to share. My most cherished memory with my Aunt Harriet and Uncle Don. This is a trip we made with them to Lake Tahoe in 1982, I remember it so well, had such a fun time.

Aunt Harriet  I miss you so much!  I'm so glad I got to talk to you a few weeks ago, it was great to be able to hear your voice and say I love you one more time. You are so missed by so many, I know you will be watching over us  as an angel now.

When I received the call from Don that Harriet passed onto heaven my heart just dropped. We have so many great memories from Disneyland and our pin trading at valley fair mall. Harriet was a wonderful friend and great part of the Don and Harriet team. I am so blessed to have met them and honored to call them friends. I remember hanging out in the room at Park Vue with Don and Harriet when she needed to rest her knee before the trek back to the park. She made me laugh so many times and I would ask her where her pin book was? She would smile and just watch the trading. I am thankful both Don and Harriet came into my life and I will definitely miss Harriet and hope Don and I don't lose touch again!!

You will always be in our hearts.Since we were kids you have looked out for us,and we know that your love was never ending.We will always remember your warm smile,loving hugs,great family stories.May God bless your family and we Love and miss you all very much Uncle Donnie,Rodney,Lynette.

Even though I don't remember meeting you when I was little you were my family and I will surely miss you.

To My Aunt Harriet

To my Aunt Harriet with all my love,
who passed away in a way I could never dream of,
she's loved by family and friends,
in our hearts the love never ends,
on March 7th of 2013,
in the afternoon she passed away at 1:15,
I wish I had a chance to see her before she had to go,
one last chance to let her know,
that she's an amazing person and Aunt,
one who would listen when you needed to rant,
as I got older I didn't get to see her much,
but we kept in touch through emails and such,
she was easy to talk to,
which I more than loved to do,
now that she's in heaven and reading this from up above,
she can see how much she is missed and loved.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I write this. Harriet was such a dear friend and I will forever hold her in my heart. Her smile, laughter, love of life and friendship will never be forgotten. I have such fond memories of her that I will never forget. She had a great impact on my life! When I think of her it brings a smile to my face or I break out in laughter from things she said or did. She had such a way about her you couldn't help but love her. She was funny, considerate, loving, caring and the best friend you could ever have. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. God truly has a perfect angel! My heart goes out to Don and the kids during this difficult time.

Dear Don, Although we didn't see the two of you often, we always had fun meeting in Disneyland. I will miss Harriet's e-mails and letters. She was always full of prayers  and kindness for me while I went through my chemo and radiation. My prayers go to you and your family. Harriet will be missed by many, she was such a special lady.

Aunt Harriet was a beautiful person inside and out and I'm going to miss that beautiful smile of hers. It meant the world to Mark and I having her at our wedding renewal. To Don and all your family.....We are deeply heartbroken to hear of Harriet's passing. We will miss all her wonderful e-mails, e-cards, etc......Harriet always had a smile on her face, even when her knees were hurting...We have many fond memories of Harriet and Don at Disneyland such as trading pins, spending time having lunch and chatting, etc... You both were an important part of our lives and we so missed the two of you when you were no longer able to come down to So. CA. Harriet will always be in our hearts....God needed a beautiful Angel in Heaven and he chose Harriet...but her spirit will always be by your side Don. I can not begin to express how very much I will miss my sweet Aunt Harriet.  With only six years between us, we were more lke sisters than aunt and niece.  With me being the tall one and Harriet the short one, I loved taking advantage, at the most inopportune moments, to call out to her,"Auntie Harriet."  People would stare at us and we would burst into the giggles!  In more recent times our lengthy phone conversations always left me on a "postive note," a talent she has shared with others over the years. Yes, she truly made this world a far better place.  Rest in piece my dear Auntie Harriet.

Joe and I are very sorry that Harriet has passed away. Don and the rest of her family are in our thoughts and we send our heartfelt sympathy. She was a person filled with life whose family was always first and foremost in her thoughts. She was very proud of her daughter and son as well as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her many friends and family.

Harriet was wonderful, always greeted everyone with a smile :) She was there for her family if ever they needed her and the memories we have of her will be cherished forever. My condolences to the family. Love you Cousins :) God Bless

Harriet was not only my mother-in-law for 28 years, but she was like a mom and best friend to me.  I will cherish those memories forever!!

No one could ask for a more loving wonderful Aunt, you were my 2nd mother.  You have given me so many wonderful memories and one of the most precious is that you chose me to be your and Uncle Don's flower girl, it was like a fairy tale come true for this six year old.
I know you are in good hands standing with those who went before and watching down on all of us who loved you. 
I know my tears will go away, eventually, but the memories of you will last a life time.

With my deepest sympathy and condolences to the family. You will be missed so much.  My heart hurts and struggles as I learn to continue on without you on the other side of an email or phone call.  I will miss our Saturday luncheons (which for me was my therapy session),  you will always remain in my heart.

On behalf of myself and family, we extend our heart felt sympathy to each of you in the loss of Harriet, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, gr. grandmother and other relatives.  May you find comfort in the love you shared as you begin your grieving and healing journey.

Harriet was a wonderful friend and neighbor for almost 30 years. In later years  we shared knee replacement recovery stories, laughed at our struggles and overcoming of them.  Harriet joined me at the "Rusty Hinges" water aerobics class in Milpitas and became the Mermaid among mermaids.  She  made so many friends there.  Harriet was like a diamond, so many facets to her. She introduced me to the website of the African Watering hole where exotic animals came to drink in their natural surroundings.  She kept me informed of the Peregrine Falcon's plight at San Jose.  She delighted me with stories of her turtle, rabbit and hummingbirds. You could always count on Harriet for a big smile, bright eyes, a cute joke and lots of loving stories about her family.  
I treasure memories of Harriet, may she continue to be a blessing to all.
