Hilario S. Cruz

He left behind his wife Florencia Ignacio-Cruz, his daughters Zita Cruz-Nepacena; Bernadita Cruz-Bautista; Maria Patricia Cruz-Fortu; his son, Hector Ignacio-Cruz; sons in- law Francisco Nepacena, Jr.; Teodoro F. Fortu and daughter in- law, Eddielou Venegas-Cruz, eight (8) grandchildren- Francis Stephen, Stacy Claire, Nathan Jeffrey, Hilgard Vincent, Hero Veni, Krystal Grace, Christian John and Thomas Pieter; a sister Rizalina Cruz-Domingo, relatives and many close friends.

Our dad is a selfless man, sincere in all his dealings. We carefully consider the choices we make as a parent; knowing we can dramatically affect the lives of our children through our choices and characteristics just like our dad.

A cheerful & funny person who seldom complains and whose sense of humor lights up any occasion, that is our DAD. ….. he is always there through thick & thin. A truly wonderful man of the house, a loving dad.

Our dad lived a simple but very busy life, a hardworking engineer who worked until he was 78 years old. He is always remembered by his peers as a pleasant person, leaving smiles everywhere he goes.

Although we’ll definitely miss our dad, We surrendered him to the Lord so he can rest and spread cheers in heaven.

A funeral service will be held on October 25-26 from 12:00 nn to 9:00pm at Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary Cedar Lawn Memorial Park at 48800 Warm Springs Blvd., Fremont, Ca. 94539. Burial will be on October 27, 2013 after the 10:30 am Liturgical service.
