

Inocencio Peralta Pascua, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 23, 2017, in San Jose, California. He was born on July 4, 1930, in Tangcarang, Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines, and is survived by his wife of 50 years, Leonie Pascua, of Milpitas, CA; daughters Marilou Pascua, of San Francisco, CA, and Eileen Nekota (son in-law Jon Nekota), of Foster City, CA; grandchildren Ethan and Ella Nekota; brother Gaudencio Pascua, of Poway, CA; sister Angelita
Dela Cruz, of Manila, Philippines; 10 nieces, 7 nephews and several extended family. Inocencio was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel and Florentina Pascua, brother Gabriel Pascua, and sister Fidela Leabres.
He joined the United States Navy in 1956 and was active in service for over 21 years. After a tour of duty in the Vietnam War and retiring from the military in 1977, he resided in Milpitas, California. In 1978, he was employed by the City of San Jose as an Electrician until retirement in1993.
Inocencio married the love of his life, Leonie Olivas, on August 23, 1967, in Ballesteros, Cagayan, Philippines. He was a dedicated and active member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Milpitas, California, and will be remembered as a kind, humble, loving, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Inocencio loved fishing and barbecuing during his earlier years, and enjoyed tending to his organic vegetable garden, reading, watching the San Francisco 49ers and Giants, playing with the beloved family dogs, and traveling with his wife to local casino resorts. Attending his grandson Ethan’s baseball, soccer, football and basketball games gave him much happiness. During the last five years, he looked forward to visits from his young granddaughter, Ella, which always brought a smile to his face. He touched the hearts of many, and was a true blessing to all who knew him.
