

Isabela Saraos Repancol, daughter of Alvaro and Bridgida Saraos, was born on June 5th, 1932 in Bocacliw, Aguilar, Pangasinan, Philippines. She was the middle child of her sisters, Felisa & Modesta Saraos. In her younger days, Isabela loved to dance cha cha, tango and "boogie" In fact, she met her soul-mate, Emeterio Lacuesta Repancol at a baili, or dance, in Bayaos, Aguilar, Pangasinan. They fell in love and got married on December 24, 1954. Together they had six children; Yolanda, Magellin, Marilyn, Micleta, Georgia & Emeterio Jr. Isabela spent most of her life as a homemaker and a loving mother to her children. Her husband, Emeterio, was a chef/junior cook in in the Army, so she took care of the children while he was away.
In 1977, at the age of 45, she emigrated from the Philippines to Soledad, California. In Soledad, she worked as a factory and field worker, as well was a homemaker. In her spare time, she loved to go out dancing with her husband.
She also enjoyed gardening in their backyard and taking care of her many grandchildren. In March of 2002, after the passing of her husband, she moved to San Jose and lived with her daughters. In San Jose, she would spend her time watching Filipino novellas and taking care of her grandaughter, Miles. Isabella also enjoyed pampering herself by giving herself her own manicures. Many remember that her nails were always painted and cared for.
Isabela is well known as a wonderful mother and grandma, always there for her children. She is also remembered as a fighter, despite complications with her health. She always had a smile on her face whenever there was family gatherings.
Isabela passed away at the age of 80 in San Jose, California She will always be remembered as a wonderful grandmother to her grandchildren: Vincent, Kimberly, Vanessa, Reggie, Alyssa, Kevin, Jordan, Bella, Caitlyn, Delilah, Miles, Richelle and to her great-grandchildren: Josiah and Khloe.
