He was married to his beloved wife, Gloria Pappalardo for 53 years. They are now together again for eternity. He is survived by his children and their
spouses, Roseann and Rick Terry of Newark, Monica Pappalardo of Oakland, Paul and Mary Pappalardo, and his adopted daughter Celia Vollov. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many other family members.
His favorite hobbies were watching old movies, playing cards, going to the casinos, watching the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, and the Golden State Warriors. He will be missed by many.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00am. It will be held at the Lima Family Mortuary located at 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539. All are welcome to come celebrate Jim's life.
