Juanita grew up in San Jose, the sixth of eight children, on the family ranch. She met her husband while attending classes at San Jose State and working at BayMart. She was a dedicated wife, a wonderful mother, a loving sister, and a loyal friend. She was considerate and thoughtful, and she always made people know they were thought of and welcomed. She enjoyed a 30+ year career in healthcare, working as an office manager for a doctor's office, and in the office at Washington Outpatient Medical Center.
She loved traveling, both close to home to Northern California casinos, as well as on elaborate European river cruise trips with friends.
Through all her life's various challenges, she was always gracious and determined. She lived a full and happy life and will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
Juanita is survived by her husband of 56 years, daughter, two grandchildren, and five siblings.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jacinto and Erlinda Siquig; and siblings Gloria and Cecelia.
Our family would like to thank everyone who offered prayers and support during this most difficult time. Thank you for helping us celebrate and cherish the memories we have with her.
