Katherine, Kay, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Grandma Kay
Has been welcomed home to heaven, she was succeeded by her husband of 49 years John Serena.
She is survived by her children Jay and Jean Serena of Modesto Ca., Ray and Kathy Serena of San Jose Ca., Robert and Valerie Serena of Milpitas Ca. and her daughter Lynn Hutt of Milpitas Ca.
Grandmother of 9 and Great Grandmother of 14
Kay has left a legacy as an active Member of her Milpitas Community, she worked for the Spangler school district for many years as well as for the St. John the Baptist School.
She was a member of the San Jose Ladies Guild, the Green Thumb of Milpitas, Bachelor Bells of Milpitas, the Knights of Columbus 5796 Ladies and an active member of St. Johns Parish.
Kay was recognized and met with admiration and hugs wherever she went.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Rosary Services will be held Monday June 1st 6:00 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Church in Milpitas
Mass services will be held at 11:00 a.m. June 2nd at St. John the Baptist Church to be followed by a reception at Pavalkis Hall.
