Keegan Ives Sardella of San Leandro passed away on July 30, 2013. He was born on September 5, 1980. He graduated from San Leandro High School, attended Chabot College and the San Francisco Academy of Art, and worked at a storage facility.
He is survived by his parents, Leonard Sardella and Michelle Olachea McDougal, his brothers Austin Sardella and Eric Martinez, his sister Chelsea Martinez, his nephew Deegan Sardella, his nieces Denee Sardella and Gianna Martinez, and his wife Helene De La Cruz.
Keegan will be remembered for his beautiful smile and laugh. He loved art and was extremely artistic and creative. He was constantly designing shoes and t-shirts. He was a loyal friend who was always willing to help others. His easy going spirit will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be on Aug. 7 from 4-8 pm and vigil will be at 7:00 pm at San Leandro Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Aug. 8 at St. Felicitas Catholic Church. Burial services will follow at Holy Sepulchre.
