

Mr. Laiquan Zhu was born on November 12, 1930 in Gaozhou, Guangdong province, People of Republic China. After he graduated from Gaozhou High school, he studied in Zhongshan University in Guangzhou, and obtained his bachelor degree. Since 1953, Mr. Zhu was a teacher at Xingcheng High School in Jingxi, Liaoning province. Later from 1957, he taught in Gaozhou First High School, Dapo High School, Changpo High School, and Gaozhou Second High School, till his retirement in 1994.
Mr. Laiquan Zhu married Meiying Liu in 1964. They have three children: HaiLing, HaiGuang and HaiMing, a son-in-law Zhibin Huang, two daughters-in-law Yi Liang and Jian Cen, and four grandchildren: Harvey Huang, Grace Huang, Anqi Zhu and Alicitine Zhu, and an expecting grandson.
Mr. Zhu immigrated to the United States of America in March 2009. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior in April 2009 and was baptized on the Easter 2010 at the Community Baptist Church of San Jose, California.
Mr. Zhu was diagnosed with third stage colon cancer in the early year of 2010. From the operation, chemotherapy, to the liver cancer's radioembolization, God's grace and mercy had been with him always, and he did not feel too much pain. Thank God for his grace and love! Because of his brain cancer, he had had the Asian Network Hospice service for about two months, and he passed away in his sleep and went to be with God peacefully on March 28, 2013. He is now in the bosom our Resurrected Lord, enjoying the everlasting life.
