Larry, beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2026, at the age of 69. He was a longtime resident of Sunnyvale, California, where he made his home and built many cherished memories with his family.
Born in Cavite City, Philippines, in October 1956, Larry began his life there before embarking on a new journey in the United States. He joined the United States Navy, where he proudly served for 20 years. After completing his military service, Larry continued his commitment to serving others through his work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. His years of service, both in the Navy and with Veterans Affairs, reflected his dedication, strength, and commitment to helping others.
He is survived by his children Honey, Joy and Yayay, grandchildren, Nicko, Jessica, Neo, Josh, Nea and Alwynn and great-grandchildren, Reece and Rianna who will forever carry his love and memories in their hearts.
His passing holds a deeply special meaning for our family. Larry passed away on August 8, the birthday of his beloved wife and our dear Mama Phie. After eight years apart, we find comfort in believing that Larry's journey home brought him back to her. On her birthday, they were reunited once again, together in eternal peace.
Although our hearts are filled with sadness, we are grateful for the life Larry lived, the family he built, the people he served, and the love he gave so freely. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
May Larry rest peacefully in God's loving embrace, reunited with the love of his life, and surrounded by everlasting peace.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.
