She immigrated to the United States in 1978 to San Francisco, CA and relocated to Fremont, CA in 1987 where she spent the remainder of her life.
She is survived by six children (Peter, Richard, Kenneth, Randy, Sindy, and Derrick) and 13 grandchildren Amy, Angela, Dana, Darla, Emily, Jennifer, Kathy & husband Quoc, Patrick, Roger, Stephanie, Steven, and Victor.
Lin Fong was remembered by all her children and as a loving mother who ensured all her children were fed before she ate. Her endless love and care continued well into her life as she raised her grandchildren and always encouraged them to study
