My Grandmother is strong, loving, independent, wise, sassy, most importantly...she has great style. I am so Lucky to have been named after a successful and beautiful woman of hospitality and great faith. I will do my best to continue what she has taught me throughout my years. I love you Grandma. I am so happy you are at peace and you are reunited with the Love of your life!

I love my grandma very much. im going to miss her around the house telling me im not doing the eggs right. Grandma was always there to help when i was not feeling good or my knee hurt. she would help make it feel better.

I met Lydia when I was in 9th grade.  When Ron invited me over to the house she was so kind and attentive, offering me food, and making me feel so welcome.  I remember she talked to me about the importance of studying and working hard, in such a way that I never forgot it.  She was a very kind and generous woman!

To our dearest Auntie Lydia - you are now in eternity with Uncle Bert and with your Divine Redemptor! You will be missed and especially your endless repeated stories - specifically how you and Uncle Bert met in the "barko" (ship)going to America - as if it only happened yesterday...your loud laughter and endless giggling while reminiscing your love story with Uncle Bert. You will always be in our hearts now and forever..We love you always!!
