She was born in April 12, 1934, in Wichita Falls, TX to Lyle W. and Juanita J. Burrows. Her father died in 1935, and she was adopted by her stepfather Martin S. Nelson in 1939.
Lynita graduated from high school in 1952, and attended Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, TX. She married Harold A. Ryan on July 25, 1954, and moved to Klamath Falls, OR where he attended school.
She and Harold moved to the Bay Area when he went to work for United Airlines and have lived in Fremont since 1960.
Lynita volunteered for the Irvington School District and for mental health organizations. She was a Baptist and a very spiritual lady.
Survivors include her husband, her sister Phyllis Bell of Denton, TX and six cousins. She is preceded in death by her sons Arthur Lynn and James Martin Ryan, her parents, eight aunts and three uncles.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent and loving care given to Lynita the past 2 1/2 years by Muriel’s Elderly Facility and especially to Noel, Annie Marie, Irene, Emi and Rosie.
