Marilyn Jane Phillips peacefully entered heaven on November 27, 2013 at the age of 67. She was born in San Francisco, California on November 12, 1946 to the late Margaret Juanita (Gray) and Ralph Bejar. She graduated from Irvington High School, in Fremont California in 1964. She worked at Neo Post as a buyer where she retired in 2009, after 35 years of service. Marilyn married Jim Phillips on September 25, 1965; later they divorced. She spent the last 30 years of her life with her companion, Ron Freisen.
Marilyn is survived by her 3 sisters Anne Hoffing of Kentucky, Martha Caviners of Missouri and Janet Gray of Michigan. Adoring mother to her two sons: David James Philips and wife Stacey of Manteca California, grandchildren, Justin and Courtney (Drew) Mcelltaney; Mark Bejar Phillips and wife Jennifer of Frederick Colorado and 4 grandchildren; Blake, Garrett, Joshua and Bryce.
Marilyn was raised Catholic. She lived life to the fullest. She was a loving mother to her two sons and daughter in laws. She enjoyed hearing how her grandchildren were doing. She enjoyed watching the San Francisco Giants, shopping, and spending time with Ron at the casinos.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2PM at her son’s home in Manteca, California.
