Dr. Mary Ellacer was my contemporary at the Adventist University of the Philippines, formerly Philippine Union College.  Both of us were working students.  She worked for and stayed with Miss Felisa Magpiong, who became Mrs. Nermal.  During our college days, some of us students would play SORRY in the home Miss Magpiong.
Dr. Mary’s late husband was one of my groomsmen at my wedding in 1959.
Dr.  Mary lived a virtuous and exemplary Christian life.
(We were born in the same year, except l am four months older than her.)
