I had wanted to find her for a long time. She and I were very close. I would love to share memories with her family. Please reach out if you see this. She will be greatly missed. 

Floyd and I were so happy to be able to see Mary and Merl when we visited San Francisco in October 2010.  I remember telling Mary then something I had wanted to tell her always, that she had absolutely the most beautiful complexion. She also had a beautiful  spirit. and it was always a delight to spend time with her. I loved that she remembered our birthdays, and that she and Merl enjoyed paying attention to John whenever we had the opportunity to visit.  She was a wonderful woman with a great heart, and we will miss her.

Mrs. Powers was my 6th grade teacher in Pawhuska in 1967. She also took me to church with her several times. She was a great lady.

My favorite memory of Aunt Mary was watching her deal with Uncle Floyd and Aunt Dean as the two argued over the best way for her to return home after a family reunion. As those two poured over the map, Aunt Mary told me that being the baby of the family never ended no matter how old one gets. You are in our prayers. Deana, Greg, Bekah, Rachel, and Lizzie Gray

Dear Sue and Glen, Ann and Johnny,
Please know that you have all of our love and prayers at this time. I am glad that Dad and I were able to visit with Aunt Mary and Uncle Merle one last time. Sue, it was a joy meeting your mother at the Ambassador's Residence in Nassau.  It was your first American Women's Club meeting and your Mother was delightful, full of humor and joy.  I'm sure you'll miss her greatly.  Her legacy lives on in  you and your children.  God Bless you all.
