Natividad Paladan Cabugao

Natividad Narra Paladan Cabugao, 84, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019, in Hayward, California, surrounded by her family. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 10:30am to 12:30pm with a visitation on Friday, April 26, from 5-9 pm and Saturday, April 27 from 9-10:30am. The location of the visitation and the service is Lima Family Milpitas-Fremont Mortuary, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd, Fremont, CA 94539. The interment will be at Cedar Lawn Cemetary at the same address and will take place immediately after the service. Naty was born on Christmas Day, December 25th, 1934 in Alaminos, Pangasinan, Philippines and was the third child of Margarita Narra and Pantaleon Paladan. Naty devoted her life to raising her children and supporting her husband in preaching the word of God. She had a passion for reading the scriptures, gardening, planting flowers and vegetables around her home. Her other hobbies include sewing, crocheting, and cooking desserts. She enjoyed taking care of the needs of her husband and children. Most importantly, she loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was soft spoken , but has a sense of humor which endeared her to her friends and family. Naty is survived by her beloved husband, Manuel Cabugao; five children: Nancy (Robert), Restituto (Salome), Mecavita (Michael), Sachiko (Joseph), and Elizabeth (Montana); 17 grandchildren: Alexie (Bryan) Scofield; Jeffrey Cabugao, Athena (Jackie Chan) Nguyen, Restituto Cabugao Jr., Jerome Cabugao, Jessica Cabugao, Monica Cabugao, Shemy (Dave) Lojera, Bobby Cabugao, Zhynah Cabugao, Ethan Cabugao, Katrina (Garrett) Cheatum, Jonathan Ficklin, Ruby Elizabeth(Austin) Smoot, Leila Ficklin, Frenzies (Angelo Flores) Adaliga, William Palomino; her sisters, Ingaw Opiasa and Marcelina Ferrer; and 14 great grandchildren: Rayne (16), Rainier (14), Rallan (13), Jaiden (7), Bryan II (5), Justin (15), Chinny (17), Chelsea (16), Ahkmad (1), Ishmael, Ivy (4), Marcus (4), Damon, Mark (8). She is preceeded in death by her son, Felixberto; and brother(s)/sister(s).
