Ngok Suen Lee passed away on July 10th, 2018 at the age of 62 years old. Ngok was born on March 1st, 1956 in Zhongshan in Guangdong province, China as the third eldest son in his family, and grew up with three brothers and a sister. He had a happy childhood with a very extended and loving community, and later moved to Hong Kong in his twenties. In 1984, he immigrated to the U.S. and built his life in San Jose, California, where he married his wife, Man Ying Wong, in 1993 and had two loving children. Working endless hours to support his family as a Chinese restaurant cook, he was a very devoted and hardworking father and husband who deeply cared for the people in his life. He had countless friends and colleagues both in China and the U.S., and his kind, generous, and hospitable nature touched the lives of everyone he
met. He was loved and admired by many, and never wavered from his values, having a strong moral compass and always offering to help anyone in need without hesitation. He enjoyed joking around and spending time with his loved ones, going on morning jogs, and keeping up with the Golden State Warriors each season.
Ngok was a son, a brother, an uncle, a friend, a husband, and a father. Up until the end he was surrounded by his many loved ones and cherished friends. His life will forever be remembered and celebrated in our hearts.
