In December of 1969, at the age of 19, he came to America with the help of his eldest brother Emilio and sister in law Gertrudes Adan.
In 1974 he went back to the Philippines. It was then that he married Teresita. He returned to America six weeks later. Rodolfo was a hard worker, working various jobs to provide for his wife who would eventually arrive in America.
In June of 1976, their first of four daughters was born, Grace. The following year, Jacqueline was born. This is when their annual Disneyland/Seaworld trips began. In 1980 the third daughter was born, Kathleen. Followed by the last in 1985, Rowena.
Rodolfo enjoyed cooking and dancing. He loved to go to discos with his wife and afterwards enjoy a late night meal. Singing karaoke was another favorite past time of his, he even marked his favorites in his song book on his home karaoke system. A few of his favorites were "Born Free" and "Release Me".
He was a dedicated Papa to his two grandchildren, Christian and Layla. Weekends were spent with the family cheering on his grandson at basketball games.
He was a loving husband, dad, and papa. He will be truly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
