Tita Luna, 

I am deeply saddened that Tito Odie had passed away and there is nothing I can say that can lessen the pain and sorrow we all feel deep in our hearts in his passing except the knowledge that Tito Odie’s last breath here on earth was his first breath in the presence of our Father in Heaven He calls paradise. Hallelujah! Seeing, listening, and watching Tito Odie sing in Facebook reminded me so much of my dad and brought out good memories as well as the longing for my father’s presence in my life. The beauty with OUR family is that we are always surrounded by the most beautiful, loving, and always caring family members that fill up the void left in our hearts by my dad’s and Tito Odie’s passings. We are blessed!

Pareng Odie is a natural born singer. When we were still young he used to Lead us in a group singing inside the Church, He will play the Guitar and start singing Alone and then we followed the Melody of the song. He is a Jolly Good Fellow.

We will forever remember Tito Odie's  humor and generosity.  We were fortunate to celebrate Tita Luna's 60th birthday.   As they were preparing for the party  Monette asked what song he will sing,  He just said " Please release me and let me go! "   We all laughed.   

And he brought us to Costco and said buy anything we wanted.   He even shopped for my dad.   

We will never forget Tito Odie.  In 2 Timothy 4:7-8  He really finished the race , he fought a good fight and he kept the faith.  Tito Odie's legacy will live through his children and grand children for generations to come.    We will miss Tito Odie..   we love you Tito ODIE....  


When I relapsed in my disease of addiction, Daddy O showed me a kind of love that I have never felt before in my life. He did not judge me nor was he upset at me as normal people would do. He even gave me money every sunday after church.As you all know, giving money to an addict is like giving candy to a diabetic.That just shows you what kind of a person he was. There is one word that I will always remember Daddy O for and that is he called me his son. He would introduce me to people as his adopted son. Not even my own father called me son. Love you very much…

Our family will not be the same without you. ❤️❤️❤️

So many great memories!  So much to tell…so little space.  My fondest memories of Tito Oddie were family get-togethers with him  being the joker “kengkoy” keeping the family laughing constantly.  His subtle lines makes you cry laughing; never a dull moment with him.  He was also the kindest Tito ever:  never forgot to send persimmons from their tree every year and every time we visited them, we never came home without a suitcase full of pasalubong ♥️  He was the best brother to my dad ever!—always there for him;  distance never stopped him from visiting  him specially when he was sick💚.   His faith in God is so contagious—best servant, big giver, always serving Him in any way;  his awesome bass voice radiating through the room—oh how I loved to hear him sing 😍.  To the best ever “ex boyfriend” to Tita Luna, “Daddy” to Aye, Monet, Jong, Joy, and Ann, “Wowo” to 10 grandchildren, “brother Ginbro”, “Tito Oddie” to all  pamangkins,  “Oddie” to in-laws and friends, — and to me, “Tito Oddie”, “Ninong”, “second father”, life will never be the same without you😭. We love you so much and will always be in our Hearts ♥️ ♥️  Weena and Mitch
