Romeo Mendoza Bilog, 76, died 6th July 2019 at San Tomas Convalescent Home, in San Jose, California after a long illness of 20 years due to a number of strokes and other complications. During his last 2 weeks, he was under hospice care, with a pouring of love by family and friends. “Romy” or “Kuya Boy” was born on March 12, 1943 in San Juan Rizal, Philippines to Glicerio and Pilar Bilog. After he graduated from college with a business degree, he migrated to Guam, and eventually came to California to work as a real estate agent. He married and was gifted with three beautiful children, Dulce, Romeo Jr., and Pilar Grace and five grandchildren, Eric-Romeo, Dionico, Kenzo, Reem & Lauri. Romeo was helpful, kind, and giving. He was also resourceful and very loving towards his brothers and sisters (Danny, Willie, Eddie, Conchita, Edith, Rose, and Carmen) as well as his nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
