Ron, whom I fondly called him, was born in Laguna, Philippines, on June 3, 1970, to parents Petronilo Samonte and Adelina A. Villaruel, and is now reunited with them and his brother Orlan A. Samonte, who have all gone to their eternal rest.
He had a simple and joyful life in the Philippines with his family, but after graduating from high school, he made the difficult decision to leave and join his mother in the United States, driven by his desire to provide for his father and brother that he left behind and create a better life for himself.
Ron was a wonderful son, brother, husband and father to Raven and Cody, who always put their needs above his own, showing the depth of his love and care for his family.
Ron’s outstanding work ethic and distinct character made him stand out. He was resolute, prioritized tasks with ease, and consistently showed patience and respect to all.
He had a couple of favorite hobbies that brought him happiness: collecting sports watches and maintaining his aquarium, which helped him unwind.
His smile was infectious, putting everyone at ease with its warmth and kindness – a true reflection of his appreciative and courteous heart.
He may be gone, but his love, inspiration and memories will stay with us forever. We will find comfort in knowing he is finally at peace and that his life brought blessings to many. Farewell, dear Ron, until we meet again.
