Sharron Kay Lawrence Henderson, 78 years young, passed away Tuesday February 5, 2013 in Milpitas, California. She died peacefully in her sleep after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease. Sharron spent her last months at home with her husband and family caring for her.
Sharron also known as Sharrie, was born July 25,1934 in Malad City, Idaho to Jeanne and Lyman Lawrence. Sharron graduated from Ogden High School, in Utah and worked as a PBX/switchboard operator for Mountain Bell Telephone, Mason Medical Clinic in Seattle, Washington and Stanford Credit Union in Palo Alto, California. Sharrie loved ice cream, chocolate, dixieland jazz, dancing, old movies, travel and Il Divo.
Sharron is preceded in death by her parents, first husband Alan J Parmley, sister Jeannie Simonsen, and her cats Utah and Penny (Penny passed 24 hours prior to Sharrie). She is survived by her husband of 28 years David G Henderson, daughter Christine Parmley, daughter Joyce (Mark) Przyborowski, son Mark (Wendy) Parmley, daughter Lora Cousins, daughter Karen (Tim Farley) Parmley, daughter Sherri Buttitta, step son William Henderson, step daughter Jane Henderson, step son Scot (Heather) Henderson, and step daughter Kathe Henderson. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 2 step grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Pathways Hospice Care Team for all their assistance during the last 2 months of Sharron's life. And to thank the Lima Family Milpitas Freemont Mortuary for their respectful care and assistance in the celebration of Sharron's life and her memory.
