

Susana Apostol Tenedora passed away in her home, surrounded by her loved ones, after a brief illness, on August 20, 2020 in Morgan Hill, CA. She was 93. Mrs. Tenedora was born on July 8, 1927, in Burauen, Leyte in the Philippines to her parents, Antonio Apostol and Macaria Cabanero. She spent her youth caring for her younger siblings during the Japanese occupation of her homeland in World War II. She married Telesforo Relojero Tenedora, who later joined the United States Navy. The Tenedoras eventually came to the United States and settled in Milpitas, California where they raised seven children. Susana was dedicated employee for National Semiconductor and retired after 26 years. She spent her retirement years enjoying her family-especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a strong, patient and kind woman who opened her home to many people throughout the years. The hospitality of Susana and Telesforo was legendary. They believed “if you sow good seeds to others, you will reap a good harvest.” They modeled that behavior daily and passed it on to their children. Susana is survived by sons, Telesforo Jr., Rome, Frank, Alfonso, Oscar, Joseph and daughter, Ofelia (Susie). She is preceded in death by her husband, Telesforo Sr. She also is survived by her daughter in-laws, 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Tenedora will be buried in a private ceremony on September 4, 2020
