During this  pandemic, I often think about how Tito Teo is doing, but I got so busy with work and the new way of living that it took me a long time to give him a call. I left a message and did not hear back. I thought to myself that I did not hear back because he probably didn’t want to disturb me at work.  

Last week, I took time off and finally had the time to call him again. When I did not hear back again, I went online to check if he has another phone number that I can call. Instead, I found this obituary.  He already passed away at the start of this year. 

I was overcome with grief, but I simply cannot think of Tito Teo without a smile in my heart. I just hear the sound of his voice calling me his child and telling me that I should not cry.  

There are so many fun memories. We always had hilarious moments and so many jokes.  We laughed  every time we speak with each other or hang out. He was kind, generous, brave, fiercely loyal, and extremely helpful.  He made the most delicious Thanksgiving turkey. He gave me my first Costco card and introduced me to its popular rotisserie chicken. He accompanied me to countless meetings and events and made work so much fun. 

He was my greatest supporter and mentor.  He always called me his child even when I was already growing old. I am so lucky to have Tito Teo in my life and I am forever grateful to him for everything he has given me. 

There’s a lot more dancing and laughter in heaven because he is there.  Thank you Tito Teo for always believing in me and for supporting me.  Heaven has gained another angel.  I love you forever and see you again some day. May you Rest In Peace.
